I can't find a design in my size/ color. How can I order one?

Books & Ballads offers custom sizes and colors. If you can't find your size in the store, you can use the Contact us form to contact our team and let us know about your preferences. In most cases, we can get the design custom made in your size and preferred color. 

 

How do I know which size to order?

Please use the sizing chart for reference. T-shirt sizes do run a bit small, so size up. 

 

How long does it take to ship items?

All items ship within 3-5 days. Sometimes, it may take up to 7 days to prepare your order, depending on the season. If an item is out of stock, we will inform you. 

 

What if an item is out of stock?

You'll be notified if the item your order is out of stock. Usually, they are back in stock within a few days. There may be a slight shipping delay in these cases but items ship out within 7 days. 

 

Do you offer International delivery?

Yes. For rates, check out the 'shipping' section. 

 

I placed an order a long time ago and my item isn't here yet. 

To know where your package is, use our tracking system. You can find this under FAQ> Order tracking. Input the tracking number we sent you and you can see where your order is. If your package doesn't arrive within the estimated shipping deadlines, you can contact us and we will follow up the order for you. 

 

What happens if I notice my personal details are incorrect after I have placed the order?

You can contact us at info@booksandballads.com with your order number, name, address, e-mail ID and the correct version of the details. Please note that while we do our best to rectify orders, the order may have already been shipped. To avoid such a situation, exercise caution while entering your details. Send us the correct details as soon as possible to ensure the best outcome. 

 

Do I need an account to place an order online?

No. Personal accounts are optional. 

 

Can I change my shipping address once my order has been dispatched?

Sorry, no. You will need to place a new order. However, you can let us know as soon as you realize at sales@booksandballads.com. We might be able to update your order if we are notified within 1-12 hours. 

 

Can you deliver to a different address than my delivery address?

Yes. Choose a separate billing address in the 'payment' section of the checkout. 

 

I got the size wrong. I want to exchange my product. 

If you would like to exchange a product, please use our returns system that can be found under FAQ > Returns.  

 

What is your refund policy? 

Books & Ballads is committed to ensuring 100% satisfaction of all our customers. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied with the product for any reason. All refund requests should be made within thirty days of purchase to be valid. You can also exchange products within 30 days. 

 

Note: Items purchased on a Sale are not eligible for this refund. This includes all items purchased during our Holiday sales or regular sale. Additionally, all coupon codes are free shipping codes are defunct during sales. 

To avoid confusion with sizes, please use our 'what's your size' app and check out our sizing  charts. 

 

Is it safe to use my credit card on Books & Ballads?

We use SSL encryption technology to ensure the safety of your credit card. Our website is SSL certified. All checkouts use Paypal secure to protect your card against fraud. You may also use the 'Paypal Express checkout' for a faster, more secure transaction. 

 

Is my personal information kept private?

Yes. All personal information is private. For a more specific query, read out privacy policy. 

 

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Click on 'forgot password' on the login page to retrieve your password. 

 

How do I know the T-shirts will fit me?

Refer to the size guide before purchasing any T-shirts. Our website uses women's missy sizes so, sizes may run small. Use the 'size chart' button on the product page to get an accurate estimate. 

If you're not satisfied with the product, you can send it back for a refund. 

 

The website is not processing my order.

Please try deleting cookies and refreshing the screen. If the error persists, e-mail us at info@booksandballads.com. 

 

There is a problem with the payment gateway.

Try refreshing the page and attempting the transaction again. You can use the standard checkout of there is an issue with Paypal. If the error persists, contact us. 

 

Are you on social media? 

Yes. We currently have Instagram, Polyvore, Pinterest, Youtube and Facebook accounts.

Tag us @booksandballads on Instagram when posting a picture of yourself in one of our T-shirts. We'd love to see you rocking our apparel. 

You can also tag us on Facebook or post suggestions on our Facebook page.

I want to write for your blog. 

We welcome guest posts on fashion, beauty, T-shirt reviews, personal stories and customer experiences. Check the 'Write for us' tab on the bottom bar for more information. 

 

The product doesn't look like the image on your website.

Due to the printing technology used in our T-shirts, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of colors. Have a look at images other customers posted on the product page and our Instagram for a more accurate picture. 

 

Can I track my order online?

Once your order is shipped, we will send you an e-mail with the tracking number and carrier. You can check the status of your parcel on our website using the order tracking page. 

 

How long does shipping take?

No. Products usually ship within 3-5 days after the order is placed. All parcels within USA are shipped by USPS and arrive within 3-5 days from the date of shipping. For international estimates, please visit the shipping page. 

 

I want to review a product I bought. 

We'd love to hear from you. Please use the 'review' section on the product page to rate and review your purchase. We're currently offering a 5% discount to all those who upload photographs. 

 

I want to feature you in my blog/ article/ work with you etc.

I want to be a Books & Ballads rep.

Can I pick up the order from your store?

We're an online store and don't have a physical outlet.
